How Comedy Wins Hearts (and Wallets)

Great comedy is all about the unexpected—taking two unrelated ideas and smashing them together for a surprise twist that lands a laugh. Techniques like puns, memes, sharp visual humour, clever juxtapositions, pop cultural nods and exaggerated scenarios can catch the eye, stop thumbs scrollings, subvert expectations, and leave a lasting impression.

So why is everything so vanilla?

The trouble is that the major players offering social media packages to small businesses seem to have missed the memo.

This image is the case study work I plucked from the homepage of one such company. Yep, folks. These posts represents the social media work they’re most proud of. Their pinnacle of achievement. Now if you’re thinking ‘actually they’re pretty good how many do I get for $99?’ – then that’s a firm indication that I should pivot you towards my AI Blogging services.

But, if like me, you see these posts and a little piece of you dies at the sheer yawn-inducing blandness of it all, stick around.

Peeps, there must be a better way. I might not be it. But I do want to offer you a scalable and affordable alternative.

That’s all well and good but what can you offer George because as far as I can tell you couldn’t make a clown laugh?

Tough but fair. And you’re right, of course. Comedy is extremely hard. But imagine if you were an Einstein level genius x one million and had been given thousands of the best social puns, gags, memes and graphs to master for your benefit. That’s basically what I’ve trained my Social AI to do. And it’s good. Very very very good indeed.

It’s these ‘insights’ – for want of a better word – that I brief my Social AI to use and apply to the comedic best practices that it has learned.
